Promising Young Footballer Dies After Crashing Into Tree

A teenager tragically died after slamming into a tree in the New South Wales Northern Rivers region.
Jaylan Stewart was killed after he veered off of Ellangowan Road in Casino just before 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
The 17-year-old's BMW crashed into the tree on the side of the road in a single-vehicle crash.
Jaylan was the sole occupant in his car and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

He died at the scene. 
Local police from the Richmond Police District have established a crime scene and commenced their investigation into the crash.
